The opening came and went but the spirit lives on!
The exhibition, Las (H)adas, comes from the urgency to celebrate the mujeres in our lives. As you follow the alluring flutters of butterflies you’ll come across the stories of our sisters, mothers, grandmothers, and lovers revealed.
On October 12th, we opened our fall exhibition with artists whose devotion is reflected within the most delicate detail of every piece. Where these walls echo the rich color, pattern, and iconography of Latina art. Judy Miranda, Ana María Hernando, Jessica Luna (+), Arlette Lucero, Meggan DeAnza and contributor Colorado Coalition Against Domestic Violence use their creative energy to ignite what you may have thought was puro cuento, pure myth.
Ven a ver, come see!
