Workshops & Tours

Thank you for your interest in visiting the Museo. We would prefer at least 2 weeks notice before scheduling a workshop or tour, please.

Museo’s cultural tours and arts-integrated workshops are designed to compliment and enhance classroom learning. Our programs engage students in art, culture, and civics in ways that cultivate 21st Century skills,  enhance creativity and promote tolerance of cultural diversity!

Workshops can be conducted in English or Spanish and either on-site or off-site at your school.

*All tours and workshops are aligned with the state content standards for history/social science, language arts, math, science and arts education.

Curiosity, Creativity and Culture create the fabric of Museo’s hands-on, arts-integrated workshops. Students delve into art-making processes to gain a unique perspective in the landscape of American culture that fosters positive self-identity, cultural tolerance and 21st Century skills. Workshops can be conducted in English or Spanish and either on-site or off-site at your school.

We know that in some cases it is not economical to schedule a school bus for a field trip. For an additional $40 travel fee (minimum fee for Denver City Area) our maestros will go to your school and give a power point presentation of our current exhibit in lieu of a tour and teach a workshop to your class. We provide all the supplies. Fees apply per group size.

*All tours and workshops are aligned with the state content standards for history/social science, language arts, math, science and arts education.
