Chiapas – Esencia Artesanal

February 15 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Parallel Artistic productions in conjunction with Xitlali designs and Mexican non-profit
organization, ConcentrARTE, announce a follow-up to their January 2018 benefit fashion and
performance show that collected donations to help survivors of the devastating 2017 earthquake in a
new, and more holistic, manner.

In response to the community’s support, this appreciation event, entitled “Chiapas – Esencia Artesanal”
will thank sponsors, participants, donors, and also award silent auction items for which bids were placed
during the last month.

The fashion showcase and informational event will include Chiapas-inspired clothing by International
designer Xitlali Designs, a special dance performance, and looks from Mexican-American human rights
activist and celebrated designer, María Gordillo.

About the non-profit recipient – ConcentrARTE, in association with organizations such as Pontis Mexico,
not only help in the rebuilding of residents ́ homes, but also educate through workshops designed to
support resilience in the face of adversity through art. A proposed budget and plans for workshops and
reconstruction efforts in Mexico is available at the GoFundMe page below. This product will benefit 40
families, or 303 residents of Chiapas.
