The Center on Domestic Violence (CDV) is an academic, research and service center located in the School of Public Affairs at the University of Colorado Denver. Since its inception in 2000, the Center has emerged as a distinctive, award-winning national leader in the field of gender-based violence and has made a profound impact on the capacity of leaders across disciplines to make change.
In honor of the Las (H)adas Exhibition, three remarkable Latina alumni of the Center’s academic programs will speak about their personal and professional experiences with domestic and sexual violence and the impact their educational path has had on their efforts to effect change. The evening will close with a brief theatrical performance by student actors with Casa Milagro Youth Solutions.
Join us for a panel presentation featuring alumni of the CU Denver Center on Domestic Violence, who are sharing their journey as changemakers.
