Pachucos y Sirenas explores the roles that fashion plays in developing street identities and justifies the existence of a particular ethnic group–in this case the Chicano population in major urban settings. A Todo Taco
June 21, 2018 – September 17, 2018
A Todo Taco is a fantastic exhibit that will celebrate and recognize one of the most celebrated characters of our time: “EL TACO.” The exhibit design is based on research that indicates that millennials (people ages 18-45) favor a combo of art, technology, and food. A series of installations that depict elements of the deconstruction of Tacos by local and national artists and film makers will tackle visually their personal takes on the matter.
October 11, 2018 – January 18, 2019
El Infinito will celebrate the partnership that exists between Lockheed Martin Space Systems Company and Museo de las Americas. For the last 3 years, Museo has provided exhibitions at the company site to celebrate the beauty of the Latino art and culture. This year we would like to partner with them and celebrate their space achievements by featuring the images captured by the different satellites that they have launched in the last 3-5 years. This exhibit of images of the Universe will have a cultural tide with the prophecies of the ancient Mayas and Aztecs and the ways they interpreted the universe.
