Luis Barragan influenced the aesthetics of a country through his architectural designs. By changing the landscape of the contemporary urban scene in the populous regions of Mexico City and Guadalajara, he became an artistic and cultural icon. This retrospective honors the impact that Luis Barragan’s artistic and architectural legacy has had on many generations that experienced his public heritage, excluding that of his work which is restricted to the world. Thus, the invited artists will create a platform to access a legacy that transcends the confined reality as it is.
