For the first time ever, Museo joined Denver’s Month of Photography in 2021 with an impressive photography exhibit entitled La Nueva Cara / The New Face that combined iconic images from some of the world’s most famous photographers including Hal Gould, Imogen Cunningham and Sebastião Salgado, with over fifty juried selections from local and emerging photographers.
This exhibition was curated by Judy Miranda and Jude Sanchez, renowned photographers in their own right. “Photographs make us pause and reflect on the times we live in. An image can inspire, educate, and illuminate a viewpoint, which may bring understanding and help create social change and build community” say Miranda and Sanchez. “We hope this show will give visitors a new point of view and perspective.”
