Intercambio Program Cohort Leader

Job Description: 

The Intercambio Program Cohort Leader is responsible for the overall execution and success of the Intercambio program. This role involves leading and facilitating language exchange and art workshops, managing participant engagement, and ensuring the program aligns with its objectives of fostering cultural understanding and building community connections. The Cohort Leader will create a welcoming and inclusive environment, implement activities from the Bridging Differences Playbook, and maintain accurate records and reports. This position requires a bilingual individual with strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, dedicated to promoting belonging and cultural exchange within the Denver community.

Program Description:

Intercambio is a language exchange program that fosters a supportive and engaging environment for participants to practice language skills and build meaningful connections. Each 5-week cohort includes bi-weekly, 2-hour sessions that combine language exchange with art workshops. The program aims to enhance cultural understanding and cultivate a sense of belonging through bridging exercises. Cohorts consist of 15-20 participants, including both local residents and new arrivals. Sessions will be held on Wednesdays.
