Each first Friday of the month, the Museo opens its doors to the public from 5 pm to 9 pm. Admission is FREE. Attend to see the current exhibition “Espíritu Hermosx”, shop amongst the local artist vendors, enjoy April’s free cultural programming, and grab a bite to eat and drink. Our food vendor for this April’s celebration will be Latin Cuisine from La Cuchara de Merce.
This Cultural First Friday we’ll be celebrating “Dia del Niño” or “Day of the Child”. This day is celebrated amongst many Latin American countries in April and it is about recognizing the importance of children in society and promoting their well-being. Plus, don’t miss out on the special feature for National Poetry Month! We’ll be hosting Corrina Espinosa from Autonomous Soup (6-8 PM), who will be handing out free poems fresh-blended from the universe, reflecting the spirit of creativity and inclusivity present in our current exhibit “Espíritu Hermosx”.
During “Espíritu Hermosx”, unlock the magic of Museo and get a FREE Museo Mystery Bag with the purchase of ANY membership (a $15 dollar value).
It’s a celebration of art, culture, and community you won’t want to miss. See you there!
